I'm not exactly sure if this is the appropriate place to put this but I was wondering how hard it'd be to make the Japanese versions of .hack IMOQ work on the emulator?

The Japanese copies do not. My friend tried them and they did not even boot. IMOQ from USA work fine but the Japanese ones go right to the memory card screen with a disc below them and a dialog box that says "Dvd player is not set up". He has the same setup as I do in terms of plugins and whatnot but has a better PC build so it should run fine. Also I should note that he is trying to run them off the disc not the iso if that makes a difference.
Edit: Yea, just got an ISO of the JP version and it works. I guess that really does make a difference.

did you get any error when making isos from his discs ? they may be in bad condition...
