Hello everyone, I'm a new pcsx2 user.
I tried following some tutorials to put some cheats in the game Need for speed Most wanted (2005, PAL). I followed all the steps and paid attention to codebreaker, in fact, at the start, it says:
"Found Cheats file: 'CA2A1B04.pnach'
comment: PS2 cheat codes
Loaded 7 Cheats from 'CA2A1B04.pnach' at 'C:\Users\utente\Documents\PCSX2\cheats'
Overall 7 Cheats loaded"


The problem is that i got this message:
"Patches: No CRC, using 00000000 instead. 
Not found Cheats file: +C:\Users\user\Documents\PCSX2\cheats\00000000.pnach 
Overall 0 Cheats loaded" after many errors.

I really want to play it with some new stuff, so I'm asking for your help.
Any ideas about this?

P.S. At the end I manually closed the game.

You get this message when you use Full boot but after that pcsx2 checks the crc of the game and tries to load a pnach with the game crc

CodeBreaker codes are mostly for NTSC games,so maybe you are trying to load ntsc codes on a pal game and that's why they don't work
And that TLB Miss is usually the proof of that if the game is working fine when you are not using cheats

If you can discover something about the version of the cheats above please tell me.

Yes,as far as I know,codetwink have codebreaker codes ONLY for NTSC(usa) games so those codes will not work on your PAL game.

Try those



And btw,the codes from your link are encrypted by using CodeBreaker v7 encryption,you can just copy=>paste them,you have to decrypt them first but in your case,even if you do that,they will still not work because they are not for your version of the game

Do these cheats need an enable code?

No,pcsx2 don't need enable\master code

I'm sorry to trouble you but the cheats don't seem to work.
The game starts like it should, but when i created a new alias and started racing the speedbreaker and the nitro didn't work: they were there but i couldn't activate them; the money was at 4000, because i bought the cobalt SS, but it wasn't infinite.
If you have any ideas I'm here.

If you need cheats for a PAL game, you can try the UK version of CodeJunkies. Just click on Saves and Cheats on the top right corner and search your game. If needed, use omniconvert to convert Action Max Replay codes to Gameshark codes as PCSX2 only supports Gameshark codes (haven't tested all the versions yet). Works with my PAL games all the time. The link for the UK CodeJunkies site and an attachment for omniconvert are below:

OMG, thank you!!!! I finally applied some cheats correctly to the game!!
Just to know can you tell me other sites where i can get some PAL games cheats?
I want to have a large variety of them to download different cheats.

Well I don't know what you did with the codes I posted but I get them from that site.
And btw gtgamer468,pcsx2 only supports raw codes
