Sorry, but when I first tested your Tekken 5 code you had already added the progressive scan parameters to it. So I can't compare it to the old version! (Or did you just update the code again?)

Anyway, the progressive code works as it should when the game boots up! Thank you again!

!Use Fast Boot enabled or codes will write bios and game will crash
*If use internal resolution for fix upscaling bug enable PCSX2 > Config > Video(GS) > plugin settings > "Enable HW Hacks" > upscaling Hacks > Half-pixel Offset = "Normal Vertex"
-in HW screen transition to battle looks little gliched (PCSX2 Bug) (SW looks ok)
-1080i mode code back in old post (1080i is resolution streched so increased VER+ resolution no matters)

-This is a renewed working code from old post, game has a nice sharp framebuffer, but random memory
usage so any code change wouldget destroyed, learning mips basics and build custom code for it bypass this, also looks like
bypass the gameguard protection of game (still i leave code disabled from ryudo if i wrong about it); it can be ported to Japanese version i leave
in .pnach original values after "//" someone port it.

Valkyrie Profile 2 Silmeria - USA 1080i Unlock code + No interleacing + Partial Sharp framebuffer code
*UPDATE: July 12, corrected combo button (was R2 not L2), sorry Rolleyes , changes and another codes for fun (test).

i find codes for unlock 1080i mode (mode only available in JAPAN version with combo button), this bump native resolution from 640x448 to 640x896, also i have framebuffer codes make game looks better in SW, but  this game has a mayor protection and nasty random address positioning, so, i can't make codes for all sharp framebuffer modes; PAL version also has codes for native 480p and 1080i modes but sadly, crash in world map with Unknow opcodes error (looks like 480p and 1080i are leftovers or maybe its PAL conversion)  i have framebuffer codes this version look nice in SW mode but again nasty random address,.. i looking for help (consulting with someone more skilled) maybe some ASM code can be done.

I'm pretty sure two games, Echo Night: Beyond and Gitaroo Man have blur.
I was looking Echo Night but no luck, only find framebuffer code for menu (looks more sharp).

Here are some no interlace codes as well as auto-widescreen, meaning the widescreen mode for these titles will load automatically with fast boot, instead of requiring full boot. You can delete the widescreen line of code if you do not want widescreen. As a reminder, be sure to set interlacing to "none" in the PCSX2 gsdx option menu when using these no interlacing patches.

hi!, love all this patches, its possible to do it with tekken 5 pal version? that version dont have native progressive mode like ntsc, but have multilanguage support, i want to play it on my language.

the same with urban reign or others pal games, progressive mode is removed...
