Was kinda reading some threads but none really answered my question directly so I was wondering, how much will allocating more Virtual Memory to my PC affect FPS? I've got the hint that the processor is the most important thing that will determine FPS rates but was wondering how much Virtual Memory will affect it.
well you don't need to set a certain amount of Virtual Memory for the latest pcsx2 Smile, the latest pcsx2 doesn't use virtual memory anymore (that would only work with the old 0.9.5 and 0.9.4 VM versions Smile)
Alright thanks for the info. I tried looking for the VM versions but since they stopped supporting it it's been hard to find.
PCSX2 never used Virtual Memory as you understand it, it was more virtual addressing than writing to the windows page file (which is the virtual memory we all know) it was tempromental and limited to its use, hence it was removed and replaced with VTLB.

All you require is having enough physical memory available, going in to your windows pagefile/virtual memory will do nothing but slow down the emulator considerably.
