I'm trying to capture video of Ape Escape Pumped and Primed with the emulator. I pressed F12, set the file location, set it to uncompressed, 854x480, YUY2, captured what I wanted, but instead of audio and video I got audio and an unusable file that has no .avi, .mp3, etc tag. It's just marked as "file" in the Properties menu. I can't convert it to anything as nothing I have supports just "file".

I think I have seen this(not adding the file extension to the file name)
Did you tried adding .avi to the file name
