Yes, but not all games will run at full speed (the CPU is the issue).
I could tell it was a laptop because of the 9800
M graphics
The resolution is unlikely to be a problem, with that graphics adapter, your CPU will be the limiting factor regardless of resolution.

You don't need to run them at your monitor's native resolution, it's the resolution it will get rendered at, after this you can choose whatever resolution you want the output to be displayed on your monitor
