Lord of the Rings Third Age role-playing game
I can get the game to run smoothly in 1.2.1. Under 1.4.0 the video stutters starting with the intro logos. Now the text is very crisp in 1.4.0, but that seems to be the only improvement. I have tried mimicking the settings between the two versions, down to the plugins, but I have not figured out how to make the game playable under 1.4.0. Changing the interlacing seems to help a little, but the stuttering is still jarring.
What might be causing the video stuttering in 1.4.0 ?
