I noticed on the wiki
https://wiki.pcsx2.net/Eternal_Poison
that someone said it worked perfectly but when I downloaded a dev build v1.5.0-dev-2638-gbb5d120a3 and tested it still seemed the same. Does anyone know if it was ever fixed? When I looked up the problem a long time ago it made it sound like the problem was so esoteric that it wasn't going to be fixed.
Well since they added OpenGL not so long ago did you tried it with that API instead of DirectX?
In order to help you further with your problem, please make sure the following are all provided.
- Your hardware specs - CPU, Graphics Card, Memory, Operating System.
- The version of PCSX2 you are using.
- Any non default settings you are using, such as speed hacks or presets.
- Your GSdx graphics settings (a picture of the settings dialog is preferred)
- What games you are trying to play and if you are playing them from ISO or DVD.
Thank You.

Here is a thread where its fixed with widescreen patch. I tried it and it seems to work although I haven't done a full playthrough yet.

I don't know if that patch is included in normal releases but it wasn't working until I downloaded manually.
just checked. it's in there. had to delete that first x fov code because I don't like black bars in my games. but, it's in there.

I didn't configure it so it used the patch before. I don't use widescreen normally and didn't know it needed it. It does seem to be included.
thanks.
