Hello

I know there have been threads regarding this issue, but I haven't been able to find a solution for this. I'm on Ubuntu 18.10 and have installed PCSX2 via repository. Everything runs fine, but when I want to run a game, PCSX2 tells me "DVD Player is not set up".

My plugins look like this:

So the CDVD Plugin is the CDVDnull Driver 0 0.6.0 [libCDVDnull]. Should I install a different plugin? If so, how do I do this?

Thanks in advance!
trying to run directly from an original PS2 DVD or did you make an iso ?
I'm using an ISO.

-In the CDVD menu I selected "Iso"
-With "Iso Selector" I selected my file
-I then run Boot CDVD (fast)
and this message prevents you from loading the game ?
It's weird since it's something that appears when your bios hasn't been dumped along with the DVD player settings. but IIRC, it's not mandatory.
did you dump your bios correctly ?
Yes. I tried several other bios's too. Every time this message, can't do anything.
Using a BIOS file with PCSX2 which you have downloaded from the internet or from a PS2 console you do not own is illegal. You must own the console the BIOS file came from (even if it's broken) to be legal.
