I upgraded my GIT build to a more recent build. My problem is that since the builds have their own versions, they are not compatible with different builds. I was playing Tourist Trophy in an older build, but now I don't know what build it is. I have attached a savestate in this post. https://1drv.ms/u/s!AgZUtRir2XGsgYEcOmFHh2B2ZlZCMg
That's weird,do you get some kind of error in the console?
The save state version says it is the same as the latest beta and the save is loaded just fine(even tho I don't have the game)but I do see that you are using the JP v1.00 bios which is known to case problems

Do you have another PS2?
Tongue Whoops, I didn't realize that the version I have currently (2964) can accept the savestate from a slightly older version, which was the one where I originally created the state. I was so afraid about losing my progress that I never even bothered testing the state. I'm good now. Blush
Don't rely on save states to keep your progress, always use the game saving feture when possible because you may really lose your progress at some point.

With memory card saves you can even used 0.9.2 and they will stil work on 1.5.0
I know that, I just use savestates to retry a race (or part of it) infinitely, change to a different vehicle, or do something else entirely in the game. I do this in Gran Turismo 3 and 4 as well. The beauty of emulators where I can easily undo mistakes.
I can see save states being useful for the insanely dumb 24 Nürburgring race. That was a massive pain on an actual PS2.
Totally, plus other endurance events and other insanely long events like GT World Championship and Gran Turismo All-Star.
