Hello! This is common for the forums i know, but does anyone mind telling me how to configure the settings?
Here is a example, my experience.
I own a copy of Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance. it runs well on the memory card selector, but when it goes into gameplay, it runs really slow. anyone mind for advice?
my specs are:Intel Core i3-540 3.07 ghz
8 GB DDR3
and a EVGA Geforce GT 730 4GB GDDR5
Please post the contents of the emulog.txt file after the problem occurs. The file can be found in "My Documents\PCSX2\logs" for the installer version or in "PCSX2\logs" for the portable/binary version.
Please make sure to enclose your emulog in code tags like so (remove the empty space on the closing code tag!):
[code]
Pasted emulog goes here
[ /code]
um.. can you like give a example please? i appreciate it!

Your cpu is on the weak side for 3d games and the fact that you are running a renderer(dx11)in software mode, makes it even slower
Switch to OpenGL hardware, enable some speed hacks and hope for a miracle
I see.
3 advices :
1 - make an iso off your DVD using imgburn
2 - get a decent CPU. that one's STR is barely over 1200 where the minimum recommended for pcsx2 is 1600
3 - Get a decent GPU. That one won't let you go higher than native resolution without slowdowns
thanks for the advice!! if i were to get a new cpu, which is better?
Intel Core i7 (880, 870)
Intel Core i5 (760, 650)
thanks anyways, i appreciate it!
