I have the following issues with the following games:
Viewtiful Joe 1 and 2 simply do not start up, the emulator will close down before the menu even appears in VJ1.
Here's my emulator log for VJ1 (SLUS-20951)

I initially thought there was something wrong with my disc, but even with a dump I'm getting the same exact issue. Plus, I get the same exact issue with the sequel.

Here's my emulator log for Viewtiful Joe 2 (SLUS-20939)

This game actually gets up to the tutorial, but then crashes in the same exact way as the original.

With Michigan, I have an issue with framedrops which happen in the same exact way regardless of internal resolution, software rendering or hardware rendering
I know the game can run at full speed considering there are youtube videos of people playing it, but for some reason nothing seems to help my case with it, regardless of settings or speedhacks. The game can run at 60fps but it will tank as soon as you're looking at a character or a street.
Here's my emulog for Michigan (SLES-53073):

I'm also having an issue with the Klonoa 2 patch not working at all, but I did not have enough time to check that one out in-depth and I noticed there's already several threads about it so I didn't want to clutter the forum
VJ1 :

you didn't dump your disc correctly. try diectly from your original disc, and if it works , re-dump it. what did you use to dump it the 1st time ?
Vj2 & Michigan : try disabling cheats and/or widescreen patches
There's actually a PS2 game called Michigan?
