Objectively? No.
Subjectively? Well I suppose if you like Linux better than Windows that's one reason you may like it more.
For MacOS? You probably won't be able to run it, unless you manually install all the dependency packages through a package manager like homebrew.

Like I said earlier, use Bootcamp and install Windows with it. Then use a dedicated PSX emulator that can run PSX games almost perfectly, like ePSXe. You would only need to allocate about 50 to 60 GB to install Windows. It also depends on your Mac model as older ones don't necesarily work with Windows 10 well.
