I have a 21:9 1080p monitor (2560 by 1080), and I would like to play burnout 3 at that res and aspect ratio. I tried following this guide: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FCWYEtHB60I 

However it didn't work, the game is still stretched. Any ideas on what I can do? Very new to emulation so I'm not really sure how to fix this.

1.Do you have the same version of the game and not modified in any way(the crc will change if it is)
2.In the console window do you see that the widescreen patch is enabled(look at the title screen,it should say [?? widescreen hacks] or [? cheats] depending on where you place the file
