Full Version: Ace Combat Zero Collision Issues

I installed the latest version of the PCSX2 emulator (Dev Build v1.5.0-dev-3179-ga36d5a022), and Ace Combat Zero starts up and runs just fine. However, when I actually enter the first mission, there appears to be some sort of collision issue where the bombers are unable to be killed at all. Any missiles or gunfire harmlessly pass through the aircraft. My own aircraft is unable to take damage of any sort, and I can clip through the ground without crashing. I am unsure of a fix for this, considering people prior who have had the same problem got it solved through an update of a very old version. I also tried initializing the game through fast boot as described on the wiki, but that did not solve any issues either. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Never mind I saw that the fast boot trick didn't work for you. Does it still do it if you run the game in software mode?

Yes, it still has that issue.
In report like this you should at least give Game ID (XXXX_YYY.ZZ) of your version. This game require patching, and automatic fixes don't include patches for some versions, for example Japanese, or Korean versions miss patches.

Also make sure that automatic gamefixes are ON.
Please post the contents of the emulog.txt file after the problem occurs. The file can be found in "My Documents\PCSX2\logs" for the installer version or in "PCSX2\logs" for the portable/binary version.

Please make sure to enclose your emulog in code tags like so (remove the empty space on the closing code tag!):

Is this a 'collision fix' ? right ?

I have the Japanese version, NTSC J, and the ID is SLPS_256.29. Automatic game fixes is on, but it might not be affecting the Japanese Version.

I placed the .dbf file into the game folders, but it did not seem to solve the issue. However, it appears that a few .dump files were created, but I cannot read any of them.
