Or you could cheat using either cheat codes (there are multiple guides on how to convert cheat codes to work with PCSX2 in the forums, plus I am sure there a money cheat code premade somewhere in the request cheats topic), or using an external program like cheat engine to find the money value in memory and directly change it to some amount you want.

What are you willing to do? It really depends if you want to grind something out or use cheats.
