i'm having problems with Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence. hardware mode looks fine, 60 fps and 720p, but! it has some annoying visual glitches software mode doesn't have. i literally cannot play with software mode since it looks pixelated and just runs slowly, no matter what i do. those visual glitches are...

codec lacks some overlay effects
nvg and thermal vision are just borked.

Please post the contents of the emulog.txt file after the problem occurs. The file can be found in "My Documents\PCSX2\logs" for the installer version or in "PCSX2\logs" for the portable/binary version.

Please make sure to enclose your emulog in code tags like so (remove the empty space on the closing code tag!):

I'd like to report that i already fixed that issue by downloading a new version of PCSX2. But now, i encountered something different. My entire emulator got corrupted. Why? Dunno. My BIOS and ISO files are okay, though GS settings dropped back to default ones. The scary thing is that all of my active save files are lost! What should i do???
did you copy/paste your memcards in the memcard folder ?

i did. i played like for 8 hours with my old save files from 1.4.0 in 1.5.0 and they got lost, somehow. what should i do??
EDIT: I also lost all of my quicksave files
"quicksave files" ? I guess you're talking about savestates... they aren't cross-version compatible anyways

About memcard, it's quite weird. can you pelase post the emulog.txt ?

sure, but... how? also, i'm quite new to this so im sorry if i say anything wrong. savestates i did on my 1.5.0 are gone after these 8 hours, and so are memcards that were active. i also have the dump of the game if it's needed
