Hi all,

I'm looking into emulating since my PS2 died. Since I don't have a working PS2 to copy the BIOS rom from, will I be out of luck on any emulation? Should I just look into getting a new system instead?

Thanks for your time.
Technically yes, you need to have a working system to rip the BIOS from. Depending on what's broken with the console, you might still be in luck with a FMCB card/easy to repair. Otherwise, buying a new system will be easier.

Right on. Thanks for the quick response! Looks like I'm heading to eBay.
