So whenever I start up PCSX2 it works fine and when I configure on Lilypad everything works and is recognized (I verified by using test device) however when I start up my game and press buttons on my Ps4 controller and/or mouse and keyboard nothing happens I just sit at the playstation 2 start up screen and no buttons perform any kind of action. Not sure what to do from here.

Please post the contents of the emulog.txt file after the problem occurs. The file can be found in "My Documents\PCSX2\logs" for the installer version or in "PCSX2\logs" for the portable/binary version.
