Hi folks,

I've been trying to play games via PCSX2 on a GPD Win 2, and while it runs at full speed on average, functionally it runs on a sine wave with 100% in the middle, dropping down to ~94-96% then spiking to 104-106% to catch up. It does this all the time.

Processor is an m3-7y30, Iris HD 615 graphics. 8GB RAM, Win 10. Running at native resolution, using the latest dev build (v1.5.0-dev-3400-g56b76b17a) obtained from buildbot.orphis.net. Preset 3 in emulation settings. ISOs running off an SD card (no optical drive on a portable.)

Video is GSdx 11, the 20200327* version. D3D11 Hardware, no interlacing, nearest filtering, allow 8-bit textures, native internal resolution, Default/Recommended for all the hardware renderer settings. Auto Flush but no other hardware hacks. Intel HD 615 specified as the adapter. SPU2-X for the audio adapter, everything default. If I disable the frame limiter I get 180% speed minimum.

It's fine in stuff like Everblue which isn't twitchy and doesn't have a lot of music, but in stuff like Megaman X Command Mission or Tales of the Abyss the constant slow->spike->slow->spike is incredibly distracting both from a visual/speed standpoint and from an audio stretching/speedup standpoint.

Unfortunately, changing the CPU is not an option. This is a handheld device and, at least for the better part of the rest of the year, it's pretty much the top of the line for this sort of portable. There's a newer hardware revision with an m3-8100y but even then that's only marginally better:

I have no illusions about enhancements or resolution or anything like that beyond what a stock PS2 can do, but I'd at least like to stabilize the framerate if possible.

Well, since that CPU is sub par, you'll have a hard time. Try fiddling with speedhacks, but don't expect miracles
