hm. upscaling is what causes the glitches, i guess.
OGL renderer must be buggy with those kind of "2D emulated twice" games
I'm assuming that this game is the only one that give problem because
I have tried several 2d games and all go well (I always left stock option on the emulator)
those a few of 2D games tested by me

capcom fighting jam
street fighter III third strike
Capcom fighting collection
Hyper street fighter II
King of fighters neowave
king of fightrers XI

Not any problem with them so I hope that You'll fix the vampire problem with hardware acceleration.

However I have to report a problem with Dead or alive 2 and Dead or Alive 2 Hardcore games on tengu (final boss) stage
please have a look at the attached image.

are you performing a fastboot or a full boot ?
I'm performing fullboot, but happen also in fast boot and software mode, it also happen in dead or alive 2 standard not only in the hardcore version.

about Darkstalker I want to say that in OPENGL or DIRECTX11 Hardware not only the graphic is glitchy but also REALLY SLOW.

I think darsktalker is broken ATM.
you'll have to keep playing it on your real PS2.
Same as DOA2.

Problem is your PS2 is a buggy one, so you won't have a lot of luck with it anyways

My PAL PS2 is fortunately modchipped if not I have to trash all my import games Smile
can't fix it, i don't own those games.
