Hiya, im totally new to pcsx2 but ive got a version 1.6.0 and i cant get the cheats to work on my game. I got the right file name said by everyone how to do, got the right code from the comfert cheats thing. Sorry, forgot what its called, ive enabled the cheats, but its just doesnt work. Oh and jm playing probably the most less used game, phantasy star generation 1. Can someone help please.
Please post the contents of the emulog.txt file after the problem occurs. The file can be found in "My Documents\PCSX2\logs" for the installer version or in "PCSX2\logs" for the portable/binary version.
Please make sure to enclose your emulog in code tags like so (remove the empty space on the closing code tag!):

Look at the console what .pnach file pcsx2 is trying to load and from where

go to documents\pcsx2\logs and opent the "emulog" txt file.
then copy and paste its content here

If the log files is too big, just attach the emulog.txt here
You don't need to post anything
Just look in the console when running the game with the cheats option enabled
Select all of the text and copy it(if you can't find the correct line saying what .pnach file pcsx2 is trying to load)
Paste the text in notepad and search for .pnach
It will show you the location from where pcsx2 is trying to load the file
