When I extract my bios and try to paste them into the pcsx2 bios folder, it doesn't appear when I open the application to find the bios so that I can start pcsx2. Any tips?

can you please show how you named it ?
what method did you use to extract your bios ? Lan or USB ?

I downloaded it from a website

Using a BIOS file with PCSX2 which you have downloaded from the internet or from a PS2 console you do not own is illegal. You must own the console the BIOS file came from (even if it's broken) to be legal.
