Shinobi stops on the memory card screen. 
Menssage:
Memory Card (for PS2) inserted in MEMORY CARD 1 is unformatted.

Or
To save your game on Memory Card (PS2) you need 370K free. (When formatted)

Does this game only run with memory card?

Please post the contents of the emulog.txt file after the problem occurs. The file can be found in "My Documents\PCSX2\logs" for the installer version or in "PCSX2\logs" for the portable/binary version.
