Hello,

I hope I'm right here.

I need some advice on how to do the settings of a PS2 controller which is connected with my Windows 10 Laptop by using an adapter device.

When I plug it in, the PC detects the device but cannot find any drivers (I think).

It says: "Application was unable to find settings for your device".

It says also "Misconfigured device, check GUIDS".

On "Lilypad svn 0.10.0 (r4510)"settings I can assign the various control buttons but when I start the game, it doesn't respond at all.

Can anybody help?

Thanks.
I recommend you don't change the fonts/colours when posting, it makes it difficult to see things.
does it work with anything else but pcsx2 ?
it looks like you have more a windows problem than pcsc2 problem...

I have tried it with pcsx2 only. It's the only emulator on which I got the game I want to running.

What can I do else?
you don't own any other game you could try your pad on ?
like a PC game ?
Right now I don't. Can you recommend one?

It doesn't have a Playstation 2 controller. What else can I do?

Is it possible to use a Playstation 3 controller for a Playsation 2 game on PC?
Sure.
Using steam will save you trouble
