Full Version: [Solved] Dragon Quest VIII Freeze glitch on title screen change

I updated from 1.5.0 3175 to 1.7.0 827 and got a new bug(?). Dragon Quest VIII freezes for few seconds when it changes from opening movie to title screen, giving also not to pleasant to the ears sound glitch.

I haven't played more on this version, went back to previous one.

Yes, there is a regression. https://github.com/PCSX2/pcsx2/pull/4085 This is to fix that regression.

So, um, to put it simply for end user like myself...
This will be fixed in next development builds at some point?
Yeah a PR or Pull Request is basically code with a request for changing the main code which then get translated into development builds at some point and then finally the stable.
Hopefully this should be fixed on the latest dev build

Indeed, 1.7 are unstable builds, they're called that for a reason Tongue But if you want the latest fixes, that's the risk you take.
