Hi.
I need some help solving this issue please.
When I try to run Tiger Woods 07 from CD or ISO I get this message 'Please insert a Playstation or Playstation 2 format disc'. I used to have the older version of PCSX2 and it worked fine. The ISO I created came from this CD which I know works because I used to play it with PCSX2 (older version).
The only changes there has been since then and now are the following :
Newer version of PCSX2
Reinstalled of Win 10
VLC media player instead of Win media player
I ran PCSX2 with all it's default settings. Really hope you can help. I still think this is the best golf game ever made. And I want to play Metal Gear Solid 3 again Smile
Many Thanks
Chris.
tried fast boot ?
Thanks for quick reply.
Yes. I have tried both fast and full boot.
I've looked on YouTube at other people with the similar problem but it wasn't any help.
I also tried downloading some Microsoft files you had recommended another user on here.
C++ Redistributables i think they were or something like that. No joy either.
Let me know if you need any further info.
Oh I am using a win 10 debloater should that make a difference. It didn't with the last version though.
Many thanks.
Chris
Here's the info on the consol as I tried to start up the game from CD

I looked into this, try enabling the "Skip MPEG" hack. The PCSX2 wiki says this is required.
Ah. thx for help.
I have already tried this. I used to run it before with 'Skip MPEG' as it seemed to solve a lot of graphical issues.
As I mentioned before, I've been running this for several years now without any problems. It's only now with this new update that it's behaving like this.
Is it at all possible to just download the old version of PCSX2 as I don't have it anymore?
Regards
You should be able to find it in the downloads section
Ok thanks.
Finally building a new PC on the weekend so my may as well just wait until I've reinstalled a new OS and try again then.
Will let you know the outcome.
Regards .
