Full Version: Relative Paths Question

I'm attempting to set PCSX2 up so that I can copy it to another hard drive without paths breaking. From what I understand, if I chose the "portable" option when I install, it gives me a "portable" file, and another folder called "inis" with additional config files inside.

When I open PCSX2, and I navigate to Plugin/BIOS selector to view the paths, it does not allow me to change to a relative path even when I uncheck "use default setting".

My question is: is there a config file somewhere that I can manually edit to ensure all of my paths are relative?

Thank you. Here's what I've changed, though the emulator doesn't seem to be recognizing these paths on boot.

you have to double the backslashes

Thanks again. It appears it's now taking those relative paths from the config file, though for some reason, it's still showing the root folder in the UI itself. Any idea why?

Using a BIOS file with PCSX2 which you have downloaded from the internet or from a PS2 console you do not own is illegal. You must own the console the BIOS file came from (even if it's broken) to be legal.
