I have a 9600GT Graphics Card, E8500 CPU and my directX is DirectX 9c (March 2009). Yet when I try to play a game, it says "Please Update DirectX! Would you like to open the webpage in a new browser?"
Followed by....
"An Unhandled or unexpected error occured, The GS plugin failed to open/intialise"
Please Help Me!
then the simple solution, update your directx with the webupdate
Your main directx is probably fine, but you need the optional components.
