I just recently installed PCSX2 0.9.6... i have windows vista 64 ultimate... everything seems to be configured right... but somehow when i go "file/run CD/DVD" the window pops up, shows all those info on the bar about the fps and stuff... but the window stays black ...
I have a Intel Q6600, Geforce 8800GT 512, 4GB ram... my configuration is Graphiscs - GSdx 890 (MSVC 15.00, SSE2) 0.1.14 / CDVDROM - gigaherz's CDVD plugin 0.7.0 with the correct Drive selected / controller - SSSPSX PAD plugin pressure mod 1.7.0 / USB - USBnull driver 0.5.0 / fire wire - FWnull driver / Bios - Europe v02.00(14/16/2004) console... dunno if u need more info... any ideas on wats wrong ?

Probably you try to run one of this unsupported games.

knowing what games you're trying might help, also you might want to get updated plugins, they help some

the game im trying to play is metal gear 3 : snake eater... it works fine on my friend's PC ... but of course he doesnt have same hardware specs :/ but i have same cfg has him on PCSX2

what is your GPU?

i have a Nvidia Geforce 8800 GT 512 MB GDDR3

hm... well, just try updating your PCSX2 and plugins, that might help. otherwise I'm stumped... I thought it might have been a GPU problem

i downloaded PCSX2 yesterday ... shouldnt it be up to date ? if it isnt ... how can i update it ? i tryed the FAQ didnt see there anything concerning this subject

these are important. (the 0.9.6 is the "stable" these are newer)
