Full Version: Why is my system not running at 60 FPS?
You're currently viewing a stripped down version of our content. View the full version with proper formatting.
Fairly new to PCSX2 and I'm wondering why I don't get a constant 60fps on my system. I know it's not top of the line but I should be able to upscale? Maybe I'm wrong. I get some pretty gnarly frame drops every once and a while and a dip down into 40ish FPS. I'm using a Rx570 4GB. Also on this particular game I get the vertical black lines. Any help would be appreciated!

I can surmise from your log that you're playing shadow of the colossus (please mention the game in future), that will need 1 notch on the EE Cycle Stealing speedhack to get reasonable speeds on your system.

You can find it in config->emulator settings (or general settings, it might be called) then the speedhacks tab, then it's the slider on the right

Sorry yes it is Shadow of the Colossus. I have this same issue with NFL Street 2. I can post the log for that too

No, why? Is there something wrong with my rips?
The console you own is known to be buggy. So I guess you're screwed. Sorry
