I just grabbed today build listed below and the games that use to load no longer load...

PCSX2 (v1.7.0-r1680)(Dev)(vs2019)(GitHubAction)_Win64(AVX2)

using the following build 64bit AVX2 link
https://github.com/PCSX2/pcsx2/actions/runs/1199924051
https://buildbot.orphis.net/pcsx2/

I drag and drop over writing the existing files in my PCSX2 emulator install folder.. like always...
I load PCSX2 (Win64)(AVX2) and works fine that far.. I go to fast boot Final Fantasy 12 mdf disc image...
and it goes through a much longer log entries then before.. and nothing.. it stalls..
logs and ini files attached..

feel free to create a GitHub issue report with this if you can.. or I will if you want me too..

EDIT:
PCSX2 (v1.7.0-r1668)(Dev)(vs2019)(GitHubAction)_Win64(AVX2)(2021-08-29)
https://github.com/PCSX2/pcsx2/actions/runs/1180334293
was the last downloaded version I have that still works and loads the game just fine..
Please delete your ini and set the emulator back up. You shouldn't be reusing old folders with new versions of development builds, it's not guaranteed to be compatible.

hmm.. ok..
I will give that a try and see if it fixes the issue..
Though I should mention that up to this point I have had no issues just dragging and dropping the new files over the old..

btw I did not get an email notification of your reply... Sad

edit 2:
the newest build, v1.7.0_r1692
https://github.com/PCSX2/pcsx2/actions/runs/1202444490
worked fine without having to reset all my settings...
but since you mentioned it I will do it anyway..
I backed up my old settings anyway..
ok done.. my inis folder is now clean and fresh again..
ok cool, dunno why one wasn't booting game, no idea why
Thank you for your report.
