trying to play Digital Devil Saga on v1.7 (on my Mac) on "Safe" preset (2) and it loads up just fine, but as soon as i hit the menu button or access a save point, it goes to black and i can't do anything. i can still hear the music but it's just frozen/black otherwise. any ideas? seems like i can progress to other areas but yeah, any time i hit square, just freezes with the music quieter in the background.
running PCSX2 on my 2019 Macbook Pro, 2.3 GHz 8-Core Intel Core i9, 32 GB 2667 MHz DDR4, AMD Radeon Pro 5500M 8 GB, Intel UHD Graphics 630 1536 MB
have ran Metal Gear Solid 2, Persona 4 and Silent Hill 2 previously on this system with no major issues and minimal tweaking on my part to make it run smoothly. any tips would be appreciated.
