Hi, I bought a new laptop with decent specs:
CPU: i5-11300H @ 3.10GHz
RAM: 16 GB
GPU: RTX 3050 (Laptop GPU)
OS: Windows 10
Everything but the CPU maybe seems to make the cut.
On a fresh install of Windows, Okami ran at 100% (60 fps).
After installing Photoshop, for some reason Okami now only runs at 50% (30 fps, but it feels way slower).
Originally, I thought I had a virus so I reset my PC, wiping all the data. Then I tested PCSX2 and Okami ran at 100%.
But then after installing Photoshop again, Okami is now back to running at 50%.
Am I doing something wrong?
I think I should put out that I tried testing Persona 4 also after installing Photoshop.
It ran pretty well on another laptop of mine that had no dedicated GPU, 6 GB RAM, and I forget the CPU.
But on my new laptop, it was just dreadful...
Never mind, after some thinking I realized the Adobe Cloud was running in the background. It will run even if you have closed Photoshop.
So, everything runs at 100% now.
Keeping this for anyone else like me to see.
