New to emulation and made an account just to ask this question. How do I backup my game files? I wanna add a music mod, but am planning on removing it and replacing it with another to keep it fresh. I have on question though, will this keep my save states if I back it up? Thanks.
if you want ot mod, t=you'll have to use a too; like apache to do so : https://www.psx-place.com/resources/apac...-2004.697/
savestates will likely be lost after you do so

Anyway I can backup the game files or memory card? I saved using the in game save option, so i wouldnt mind for the save states to be gone.

Yeah, just in case I lose any progress I wanna back it up. I also heard you can back up the memory card or the save states but I do not know how to do that
same : copy/paste
Memory card save - the game don't care how you modify the data so your saves will be fine
Save States - the save state name is using the main executable name and the crc.You cannot change the name so that will not be a problem but modifying the iso in any way will change the crc so you just rename your save state to the new crc and they will work
