Like Ref said in his last post, game names for the games list are in gameindex.yaml. So if you need to change a game's name, open the file in notepad, press control+F, search for the game(pay close attention to the SLUS number and region!), rename it and save. Then in PCSX2 go to Settings-->Game List and Rescan All Games. You can add new entries too if need be(I've never done this before myself, but the format is simple enough and I'm sure someone could point you to examples if needed. At the top of the file itself there are links to reference doc which may help.)

Edit: Also definitely backup the gameindex file before messing with it, haha.

I know that this is a bad idea. After all, it is not an official solution. I have only explained how you can change the titles in the emulator itself with a workaround at the time, but of course this is not recommended. ;D

Nice QT interface, but is there any way to use the old interface with new builds?

Yes. Download the the dev builds with wxWidgets in the file name. They should nearly identical feature-wise, I believe.
(Some QT specific features won't be present like the library)
