@Kurobatique: This pnach shows the codes I posted are turned off (putting // in front of code); the active code starts with a 6 which I am not familiar with (I have never seen a type 6 code for PS2 and PCSX2 may not work with that type of code). Have you tried turning that code off and then enabling just one of the codes I posted? (just enable for character you are using Snake or Raiden *not both* since both codes write to the same offset).
EDIT: It seems type 6 codes are what you get if you decrypt ARMAX codes to RAW. I still have my doubts that PCSX2 will be able to use them.
Try these codes for M9 from Codetwink instead of the one you're using and see what happens. Only use 1 at a time.
