Long story short, I have an old physical memory card with lots of saves on it but I don’t have a console on me. Is it possible to move the files to my PC without a PS2? Every method I’ve seen involves a soft modded PS2. Surely there’s some software out there that lets me just use a $15 USB or SD card adapter. Much rather buy one of those than try and retrieve my PS2

you will need to soft mod your PS2 to dump the bios anyways, so go for it
