My mercenaries playground of destruction it's freezing right at the beginning of the game, when I go to get the weapons on the plane
I've tried directx, vulkan, opengl, software mode
Tried different settings and nothing.

Please post the contents of the emulog.txt file after the problem occurs. The file can be found in "My Documents\PCSX2\logs" for the installer version or in "PCSX2\logs" for the portable/binary version.
