okay i got my game to work now at about the right speed, but i get a flickering blackness on my screen every second. the game im trying to run is kingdom hearts 2 from iso.

pc specs:
processor- intel celeron e1200 @ 1.60 ghz 1.60 ghz
RAM- 1gb (plan on gaining an extra 1 gb tommorow if that will help anything)
vista 32-bit operating system
Nvidia Geforce fx5500 256mb

pcsx2 0.9.6 info
gsdx sse2
linuz iso
speedhacks- 2x cycle rate, iop 2x cycle rate, waitcycles sync hack
advanced- both flush to zero boxes checked

use the SSSE3 version

and don't use VU Skip or Frameskip

also (even though it's dual-core) the speed of this cpu won't help much , but do download the latest beta and activate the VU Cycle Steal to (maybe) Max and the Idle Loop speed hacks

will try, where can i find the beta you mentioned?

it's in the first section of the forums (news, site feedback, download)

thanks for the help, it helped a little bit but the gameplay is still crap, ill probably just give up for now til i can get a better processor
