Im trying to resolve the known issue with Gran Turismo 4 not displaying text about opponent lag correctly by changing the Clamping Mode setting to full, but it doesn't show up on the list and I haven't been able to find any thread mentioning its removal

Try this.

Furthermore, you will not find the relevant setting under Vector Units, but under Emotion Engine. It is not necessary to change these settings with the cheat patches mentioned.
