CPU: E6600 @ 3ghz
RAM: 4gb Corsair Dominator 1066mhz
Video Card: Nvidia 9800GTX+ 1gb

happens under every renderer including zeroGS with missing geometry hack
Have you updated your DirectX with the webupdater?
that's what nloop hack is for under gsdx config.

nloop isn't in the new GSdx revs. it's hardcoded into pcsx2 itself
I have this same problem... I started off with dx10 on, and it definitely has major terrain issues (making FFX kinda impossible to play).

NLOOP is checked, and I have DX10 Hardware selected. Any other settings I should try?

Incidentally, I've tried this running in DX9 mode with no luck....

I haven an 8800 GTX OC, by the way, in case that matters, and I'm running Vista 64
If you're using File->Run CD/DVD try using Run->execute or vice versa.

Wow, I was doing Run ==> Execute....did File ===> Run CD/DVD, and it seems to work.

(granted, I did that over logmein from work, but hey, I saw terrain!)

Thanks for the tip!!Biggrin
just curious, what version of pcsx2 are you using? As far as im aware the NLOOP hack is perminantly on in 0.9.6, but it was only when it detected the FFX CRC (which is only possible with file->run cd/dvd) in versions previous
I went to the main page and downloaded it:http://www.pcsx2.net/downloads.php

The version listed there is the PCSX2 0.9.6 Installer.

Is that the latest one?
