using speedhacks? if so disable them as sometimes they may do this, vu stealing and cycle rate for example.

what exactly do the 55fps look like slow? flicker or what?

yes, i used speedhacks.

no flicker. just 55-"feelish" fps. general slowmotion.

turn the speed hacks off then tell us what the frame counter says compared to the feel

Most games that are not interlaced render only every second frame and output them repeatedly.

the fps counter is not make a fool of me anymore after i turn off all speed hacks.

errmm... whatever. not a big problem actually.
