Hey Guys which processor is the best for pcsx2?
I have an Intel® Pentium® D CPU 3.00GHz (2CPUs)
or did i didnt need a better processor to play the game faster?

you must have at least a coreduo at least 3,2 ghz. works very well with a cpu overclocked at 3,6-3,9 hgz.

i buy next time a new processor because my processor is everytime overheated.
You'd need a new motherboard... Those Pentium D's are 65nm, the newer Core 2 duo range is 45nm.

Get an E8400 3.0ghz Overclocked to 3.6ghz.

Get an E8400 3.0ghz Overclocked to 3.6ghz.
But he'd still need a new motherboard... And to overclock like that he'd no doubt need new RAM as with the Pentium D boards I worked with the DDR2 RAM was only 333MHZ (667MHZ) maxiumum and he'd need DDR2 PC6400 400MHZ (800MHZ) to really overclock... Corsair or the like.
