My laptop is Dell 1420: Core 2 T5250 + 2G DDR 800 * 2 + 8400M GS 128M. Its originl memory was 512M DDR 667 * 2. It used to work well with PCSX2 0.9.4. But after I take place it with 2G DDR 800 * 2, all versions of PCSX2 report this exception. Is there any solution?
Is this like a BSOD error message? And does this happen with just PCSX2, or does it happen with other applications? My guess would be to check your timing on your RAM. But, I'm totally guessing here, so correct me if I'm wrong Tongue
Fault Module Name: KERNELBASE.dll <-- wtf? First time i see that...maybe it's windows DEP? Try disabling it
If your laptop crashes after upgrading your memory, id suggest you have faulty memory. I suggest you run a memtest on it and get it sorted.
This exception is only threw by PCSX2. My laptop runs well with any other applications, games, develop tools and virtual machines on windows OSes.

PCSX2 is reported MUST running with DEP on by windows.

I ran memory test with Dell tool. It reported my memory had no bad section.
If you are running it with DEP on, then you can't really complain. Anyway, this is 99% a problem on your end either way, so moving for now.
