Hi guys, I'm sorry if the thread is already opened, but i don't find nothing.
However my problem is linked to lagging of FF XII during the movies and the game.My Pc is a HP dv6 1058el and this are its configuration:

Intel Core 2 Duo P8700, 2.53 GHz, 3MB cache L2, FSB 1066 MHz
RAM 4096 MB DDR2
NVIDIA GeForce 9200M GS, 512MB dedicati
Hard Disk 320 GB SATA 5400 rpm
4 x USB 2.0, 1 x HDMI, 1 x eSATA, 1 x VGA, 1 x RJ45, 1 x Firewire IEEE 1394,
Networking: WiFi 802.11b/g, Gigabit Ethernet LAN 10/100/1000Mbps
Microsoft Windows Vista Premium Edition 32bit

I use the last version of pcsx2, can you help me to optimize my sistem to play final fantasy XII?

I'm sorry if the thread is already.

Bye.
Only thing you could do is check native in GSdx config. The graphics card is VERY weak and FFXII needs a powerful one to run well...
Try also the newest GSdx, make sure you use Direct3D10 (Hardware) and try checking the native checkbox. In PCSX2 try enabling some speedhacks specially VU Cycle Stealing set to slight/moderate altho I'm not sure how that works in FFXII.
I can get a good playable speed throughout the game, except the in-game cutscenes are usually 35-40fps and FMVs are usually about 40fps. The best configuration I can figure out is to enable x2 Cycle Rate, IOP x2 Cycle Rate and Idle Loop Fast-Forward in the Speed Hacks.
One other thing that might help is to turn on microVU in the CPU options and then enable Status Flag Hack and Min / Max Hack in the Speed Hacks. For me, using microVU makes FFXII reeeally slow, but it might be because my processor is an AMD so you should try that, and if it makes things worse, just turn it off again. Oh and make sure you have the latest beta of course. You can get it here.

If you want to compare our hardware, my specs are in my signature.
Buy better grapic card, that is the best solution for your problem because your gpu is main problem here. 9200gm is more worst than 8400gm, i suggest you to buy 8600gm at least then try all of suggestion above. Best pcsx2 for you is pcsx2 r.1059 because still has vuskip in option and you can try to mix that with others.
I doubt getting a new gfx card is an option as 9200M means it's a mobile graphics card(laptop)
When I start to play Final Fantasy XII, the is this slowdown caused in the movies. And in the Pcsx 2 Output window it says " sceMpegGetPicture is aborted". Does anyone know how this problem can be fixed. And here are my PC configurations just in case it maybe a PC problem.

Processor:Intel® Core™2 Duo CPU E7200 @2.53GHz 2.53 GHz
Installed Memory (RAM): 1.00 GB
Visual Memory:ATI Radeon HD3450 / 256 MB Graphics Card
System Type:32-bit Operating System
Sound Device:High Definition Audio Device

And I've been able to play Final Fantasy X without a glitch but this I don't know why.
I bet you was using peopspu2 for sound plugin so use spu-x sound plugin.
