i have 64 bit windows vista with quad core and 8 gigs of ram and i had lots or problems but worked most out but when i goto run the beat or the 9.6
i get cdvdopenNVM: creating bios\scph-70012_v12_usa_200.NVM
i tryed all the graphic plugins but none work for me
Copy your Bios again and see if that fixes the problem.
try "right click->run as administrator", also make sure you installed pcsx2 in a folder with full access rights like "my documents"

thanks that worked just have to tweak it a lil bit to make it run faster.
Disable UAC, so you never again have to be bothered by applications not having sufficient rights.

that's true, but it also provides admin rights to all applications that run, which can be dangerous. only recommended for experienced windows users!
