this thread can be deleted after the first reply to have the answer. Basically, I just want to know if I should uninstall the old version before installing the new beta, or just install over the top? I've had trouble doing it either way with certain programs before, that's why I'm asking before i try.
Should be fine, though it is better if you can delete all the old files first. just make sure you backup your memorycards and bios files

Being that I made the installer, I can tell you it will not touch any user created files, nor it will touch any preexisting files.
Even when uninstalling it's made so it will only delete the files it installed, leaving alone any user created files, any memcards, everything. UNLESS you specifically tell it to delete EVERYTHING, and it will ask you confimation anyway
So, it's idiot proof.
