Hey guys, I'm trying to play FFX , when I first load PCSX2 0.9.6 in the background ( Black screen ) it reads my CPU speed correctly ( AMD Athlon 64x2 dual core 6000+ Running at a speed of 1GHZ. I get incredible bad FPS even at crap settings, the intro video is bottoms out at 10-15 FPS

My comp specs are :

Processor: AMD Athlon™ 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 6000+ (2 CPUs), ~3.0GHz

Ram - 4g

DirectX Version: DirectX 10

Vid card - NVIDIA GeForce 8500 GT

, so is it the 1GHZ processor speed thats killing me? Any help is greatly appreciated.

try the new SVN, or the old stable 0.9.6 (post results of it please)

this is your problem, old athlons are too slow for enjoyable emulation, when i had 5600+ overclocked to 3100mhz i had avarage 50-80% fps for final fantasy X and i was using official beta.
