Only because running 64 bit Vista or Windows 7 gives you access to DirectX 10.
after trying server 2008 r2 and windows 7, all i can say is ws08r2 is ROCK! im curious about the performance benchmark but found none on web yet.

what im feared is not happen, the WOW64 is installed by default on 'full' installation and i cant disable it (yet).
the WOW64 is can be disabled on 'core' installation only i suspect.

Oops, that 32-bit counterparts already do that. To be exactly, I suspect pcsx2 will gain additional speed running in 64-bit Windows versus 32-bit ones.

I saw benchmark showed that 2008r2 is slightly faster than Win7, that only a little thus can be neglected, so I don't care what's going on towards other applications. The only thing I concerned is PCSX2, even 2FPS growth is considered as grand.

For short. 2008r2 and 32-bit Win7, Which one is fastest on speed of PCSX2 ?
(I presume 2008r2 surpasses 64-bit Win7 already)

I'm now on testing different species of Win7 32-bit and further will try vLite it, then publish screenshot for reference and comparison.
cant wait for the benchmark, goodlcuk pcsx2fan Smile
